We started this record what seems like ages ago. I feel like you walk away from each record with something new and something earned. The writing and making of “Modern Archaic” was no exception. Between the shows, miles burned, hotel rooms, and life happening, we tucked ourselves away in our little corner of the city every chance we got to work. This record taught us patience and rewarded us with growth. We learned to be an even tighter unit, making this record. We could not have done any of this without Dave Chale at Dead Bird Studios and Matt Poirier. Thank you both so much for caring and leaving your mark on this album. Thank you to the Nowhere family for your support and love always. Thank you all for listening. The four of us are as every bit excited for you all to hear it as we are to have it out to the world. Hey everyone! We wanted to let you know that we’ve finally finished out 3rd full length album, titled “Modern Archaic”. It’s set to be released on 11/01 across all streaming platforms. Hello! We have a ton going behind the scenes, but more on that later. We have been playing shows and will be announcing more among other things soon, but we are excited to let you all know we will be playing Midwest Friends Fest on August 31st in Newport, Kentucky. Hello! Updates and more updates. Let me start by saying we are in the mixing stages for our new album. We’re excited to bring you these new songs that make up “Modern Archaic.” More details on that shortly.
If you haven’t heard. Rob had an injury this past winter but is healing nicely, and we will be back at it soon and ready for summer. Seth has been holding the fort down solo honoring the spring shows we had booked. Speaking of summer, we’re excited to announce we’ll be playing Jorts Fest down in Nashville this year! So, go check our calendar and mark the date. Too many rad bands to list, but check the list below. Until then, stay tuned for more shows and album updates coming soon. Back to mixing.
Hello! We hope the holidays are being kind. We're still rehearsing the new album and finishing up some loose ends in the studio, but also taking this time of year for family too. We just wanted to give thanks for the support, and we'll see you in 2024 with a new record, shows, and hangs. We're getting excited for you to hear it. Be safe, everyone, and hug your people.
We’ll be playing our album “Trials” front to back on November 15th in Louisville at Mag Bar to celebrate it’s 10th birthday. Get there early as we’re opening for Off With Their Heads and Nervous Passenger. We will be announcing a few more shows regionally very soon. We’re just too excited to keep it a secret.

I know all has been quiet with the exception of a few shows here and there. Well, trust that we’ve been busy behind the scenes finishing the new album. All guitars are finished and we’re on to vocals. We have however released some June dates. Check the show page and the flyer below for details. More to come with busy times ahead. Load in, setup, play, load out, drive, repeat. The month of May was a blast getting back in the swing of things. It's also nice to be back home working on the new album. More info on that later. We do have one home show this month at Mag Bar with A Vulture Wake, @breaux_atl, and Terminal Axon. Seth also has a couple solo shows too. One of those being at Headliners Music Hall on Thursday, June 16th.
Nowhere started tracking our next record at DeadBird Studios. We'll try to be better at documenting as we dive in further, but we are excited for you to hear it. Producer Bruce approved 🖤
We have a new two song single out September 24th everywhere digitally! This release includes our cover of R.E.M.’s “The One I Love” recorded at Dead Bird Studios by The Chale. Happy New Year! Last year was so crazy that even early on I forgot on February 6th, 2020 "The Highlands Sessions" turned ten years old. It was supposed to be an LP. I am happy it wasn't, but happy for what came of it. When we we're young as they say. This was a big learning curve for us. Every lesson was received and we were forever grateful. Now, sorry I forgot your Birthday. Thanks Stephen, Ben, and Little Heart Records for ever putting up with us green minds.

We’re definitely still in pre-pro, but starting to see some shape of what this EP is becoming. We’re always nerding and wanting to give you our best, but also growth for ourselves. We’re excited to show you these new songs. Things are on the horizon, but most importantly we hope everyone is staying safe.
As 2020 continues to bare the finger we realized this week that Aeonian turned 2. Please go give it a spin again and we have some things on the horizon. Slower than normal, but it’s just how this year is. We miss you all and do hope you all are doing the best that you can. Back to this writing and tweaking.
